At Fabric, we’re out to lead the way in a unique and important kind of urban, neighborhood-oriented development. Our focus is on places that create a sense of place, that enrich and strengthen city life in between the high rises, down on the street level.
There are certain goals and qualities that will be a common thread through each and every Fabric project:
Authenticity
Our projects will draw from and fit within the existing history and character of a neighborhood or area.
Historic, restorative
Many of our projects will involve adaptive re-use of existing buildings, and will typically be part of a redevelopment plan established and endorsed by the community.
Human-scale, not huge-scale
Ranging from town home density to mid-rise, mixed-use developments with structured parking, each Fabric development will be built at a scale that fits within the context of the street.
Affordable and diverse
Utilizing our experience and knowledge of the mechanisms required to incorporate an affordable component, we will work hard to make each Fabric development a place for all kinds of people, paying attention to what people actually earn.
Creative, a little edgy even
Unique, authentic, individualized places. A total lack of formulas. This is what the new and future intown residents of urban areas like Atlanta will be looking for. Many of our projects will also include a community component, such as an arts institution or a school.
